In the Heart of the Young é o segundo álbum do Winger e tal como seu antecessor, faturou disco de platina nos Estados Unidos e disco de ouro no Japão. Entre os sucessos estão Can't Get Enuff, Miles Away, Easy Come Easy Go e You Are the Saint, I Am the Sinner, canções cujos clipes foram lançados paralelamente pela banda em dois VHSs homônimos ao álbum. Além das músicas já citadas, destaco Loosen Up (a predileta do meu companheiro sueco), Rainbow in the Rose e Under One Condition, que ficaria ainda mais maravilhosa em formato acústico lançada no álbum Made By Hand de Kip Winger.In the Heart of the Young foi também o último trabalho do grupo com o multi-instrumentista Paul Taylor, que sairia em busca de novos horizontes musicais. Em seu lugar entraria John Roth e a banda, após treze meses em turnê, iniciaria as gravações do audacioso e irregular Pull... Mas essa história eu conto melhor em outro post. [risos]
